Newington Public Schools

Newington, Connecticut is a suburban community of about 30,000 residents located just south of the capital city of Hartford. Seven Newington schools proudly serve approximately 4,200 students in full-day K-12. Newington Public Schools serves the community and their students with seven schools, including four elementary, two middle and one high school. We will do this by designing a system that will build the district’s capacity to meet the learning needs of all students by: creating a culture of evidence-based continuous improvement; ensuring continued employee growth; recruiting, recognizing and developing talent; providing leadership training and opportunities.
